Question on the Thunder 9?

Question on the Thunder 9?

Postby suade907 » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:19 am

Hi guys, soon to be a new owner here. I have a question though. I just ordered a Bersa thunder 9 from my local gun shop. I was looking at the Thunder 9 PRO and wanted to order that in Black. The guy that was helping me filled out all the paperwork but when he listed the gun he listed it as just a Thunder 9 and not the PRO. When I told him that he forgot the PRO he told me they were the same gun and it didn't matter. My question is, Are the thunder 9 and thunder 9 pro the same? I don't really trust this guy cause he didn't know the difference between high velocity and sub sonic .22 ammo. He was also a bumbling fool on the computer and made my 5 minute transaction take a half an hour.

Thanks in advance.

There are differences between a Pro and non-Pro. The biggest difference is the Pro comes standard with 2 mags, the non-pro only 1. The pro has a loaded chamber indicator, polygonal rifling and a short picatinny rail.. mo

The pro has a loaded chamber indicator, polygonal rifling and a short picatinny rail. The non-pro model is no longer being manufactured (I think) .. Many of the members here have moved to http://www.bersachat.com/forums/forum.php because this board is supposed to go away soon.

Ok thanks a bunch, I called the dealer to make sure they had the right one on order. It seems the guy must have changed it to pro after I left cause the girl i spoke to said they did in fact order the pro.

Thanks a bunch
I'll switch to that other forum asap.

Another difference is that the non-pro is no longer manufactured (I think).
