Two dot rear sight for a Bersa U/C 9mm PRO

This is the third time I have asked this question here. I have read postings that there would be some after market sight news after the SHOT SHOW. Can someone somewhere on planet earth PLEASE post something on this subject? I need a new rear sight that I can see.

Buy a small bottle of testors white enamel paint or a bottle of white appliance paint, use a round wood toothpick and put the dots on the rear site and a small square on the front site, worked good for me, practice on a piece of metal or a large nail head, just make sure the surface is free of any lube, and you just need the smallest amount of paint on the toothpick. If you don't like the way it comes out, wipe it off and try again. I used Testors and I have cleaned my BT380 several times without damage to the paint, also used it on my Ruger LCP. Hope it works for you.

This sounds like a good idea but, the rear sight on the 9mm u/c pro is white outline. Just painting dots will not work. The white outline will have to be removed first. I would perfer to replace the whole sight system.

Don't know if this will help, but it's a link to the Bersa Firearms USA Forum & gives starting S/Ns for Bersas which are set up to take SIG sights. If yours doesn't fall in that range, I don't know that there is anything that can be done.

As for the Sig Sights, you have to make sure your front sight is the correct height to work with the Sig Rear Sight. The Pro's are supposed to start coming out with Replaceable front and rear sight. Till then, we are out of luck. We are working with some after-market companies to get sights, but with the economy the way it is, some are hard to convince there is enough of a market. I'll keep you posted.
